HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER (HCV) PROGRAM
ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN REVISION
The Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) requires housing authorities to maintain an updated Administrative Plan for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. A public housing agency (PHA) is a governmental or public body, created and authorized by state law to develop and operate housing and housing programs for low-income families. The PHA enters into an Annual Contributions Contract (ACC) with HUD to administer the program requirements on behalf of HUD. The PHA must ensure compliance with federal laws, regulations and notices, and must establish policy and procedures to clarify federal requirements and to ensure consistency in program operation.
Therefore, we are notifying all tenants and other interested parties that they may give comments on the proposed plan at the City Building, 1700 Greenup Avenue, Suite 212, for forty-five days beginning January 8, 2018. Any comments will be received at the City Building, Suite 212, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A public hearing for the proposed plan will be held March 8, 2018 at the City Building, Commission Chambers, 1700 Greenup Avenue, 3rd Floor, Ashland, at 3 p.m. Any comments will be received at public hearing.
The HCV Administrative Plan will be effective as of July 1, 2018.
