Solid Waste:  This division is also located at the 41st Street City garage.  Garbage collection is required of all residents within the City and is billed monthly with the water and sewage billing.  Collection is weekly with a special trash pick-up the first full week of each month.  Holiday weeks are operated on a ten hour schedule with no pickup on the holiday.  If there is a holiday the first full week of the month, the trash pickup will be the following week.  Solid Waste may be called at 606/327-2040 or 606/327-2049.  Normal hours of operation are 6:30 A.M., Monday through Friday.
