The City of Ashland Fire Department will be testing fire hydrants in Ashland beginning April 1, 2024 and continuing through April 2024, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for most areas. Hydrant testing will be done in zones and each resident should not be affected for more than 1-2 days. There may be a slight drop in pressure or a presence of discoloration from the minerals and sediments being flushed out of the system.
