Winter Storm Cleanup Effort

Information For

The recent storms have wreaked havoc on our county resulting in downed trees/limbs and leaving behind a need for a mass cleanup effort. The Boyd County Fiscal Court has initiated a Winter Storm Cleanup effort for the County including the City of Ashland and the City of Catlettsburg.

Beginning March 8th, residents will have the opportunity to drop off their tree-related debris to the Boyd County Road Department located at 12327 Anthony Drive Ashland, KY 41102. This will be available Monday – Saturday from 8:00am – 3:30pm.

If you are unable to haul your tree-related debris to the designated drop-off, you may request a curbside pickup by calling 1-844-519-2693. To qualify for the curbside pickup, the tree-related debris must be stacked and readily available within 10 ft of the curb or roadway. Due to the demand, there may be a delay in the pickup timing.

The Company awarded the contract will also work with local contractors to expedite the cleanup needs and prepare our county for a safe and enjoyable summer!

As a reminder, Contractors working on the cleanup as part of this initiative will not ask for payment of any kind. If you are asked for payment, please contact local law enforcement.

If you have any further questions, please feel to reach out to the liaison at 1-844-519-2693.
