Ashland Fire Department to conduct hydrant testing

Information For

The City of Ashland Fire Department will be testing fire hydrants in Ashland beginning April 3, 2023 and continuing through April 2023, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. for most areas. Hydrant testing will be done in zones and each resident should not be affected for more than 1-2 days. There may be a slight drop in pressure or a presence of discoloration from the minerals and sediments being flushed out of the system.

CONSUMERS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK WATER CONDITIONS PRIOR TO DRAWING WATER FOR CONSUMPTION, COOKING, AND FOR USE IN WASHERS AND DISHWASHERS. If discoloration is found, run water until water clears.
